It involves damage to the retina with an accumulation of fluid that causes it to detach.<\/p>\n<p>This pathology causes a progressive decrease in visual acuity which is observed in learning at school, often associated with hyperopia.<\/p>\n<p>Several lesions appear:<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Bilateral macular involvement called central retinoschisis, on FO we see cystoid lodges in the foveola (center of the retina) and in stars on the periphery of it.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Peripheral retinal lesions<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Vitreous lesions that cause bilateral haze.<\/p>\n<p>Macular damage can become complicated by macular hole or even macular atrophy.<\/p>\n<p>There is no treatment for this pathology, it will focus on the treatment of complications that may arise from it, in particular retinal detachment.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Le r\u00e9tinoschisis est une affection g\u00e9n\u00e9tique rare qui atteint principalement les jeunes hommes (10-20 ans), il s\u2019agit d\u2019une atteinte de la r\u00e9tine avec accumulation d\u2019un liquide qui entra\u00eene son d\u00e9collement.
