The young patient does not notice this immediately because the accommodation efforts of his lens - still flexible - allow him to compensate for this hyperopia.

Correction of hyperopia

Hyperopia can be easily treated by refractive surgery (up to 6 diopters) whether or not it is associated with astigmatism or presbyopia.
The conditions, risks and precautions for hyperopia surgery are similar to those for myopia.
As with all refractive surgery, there is no such thing as zero risk, but overall, serious complications are exceptional, especially when a complete and rigorous eligibility assessment was carried out beforehand to ensure the absence of any possible contraindications.
All procedures are applicable for the treatment of hyperopia: Lasik, femtosecond laser and Trans PKR, the only truly 100% laser operation without any contact with the patient's eye.

Qu’est-ce que l’hypermétropie Dans l’hypermétropie, l’œil est trop court et les rayons lumineux sont focalisés derrière la rétine : on voit flou de près voire même de loin et cela occasionne de la fatigue.
